Italian Sizzle Shack: Authentic Italian Flavors & Family Warmth in Sherrill, NY

We have been looking for a nice, friendly place with great food and great people. Well we have found it greeted as we came in, it was a combination small store with freshly made sandwiches, salads, pies, desserts, along with fresh soups and meats all made on site can't wait to try them all. So much more available I am not listing. We had a special pizza and wings amazing on both counts wings came out 1st and disappeared quickly. The pizza was awesome freshly made sauce, dough, meats. Prices were great. We will be going back actually looking foward to it.and bringing the family.

This place is a hidden gem in Sherrill. Ive gotten food from them several times as I work out there and every time has been so good. Especially when they do their bbq on the smoker it's out of this world. The family who owns it is awesome too. Great service as well. Eat there you definitely wont be disappointed

I am so happy I found this place! The family that owns it is soooo nice which makes me and my family want to support them as much as we can. I have started buying all my meat there and run in to get things like milk, eggs, coffee cream, etc also because it’s so much easier than going into the grocery store. If they don’t have any steaks cut they will go in the back and cut them exactly how we like them right then. I must also mention their Sunday breakfast/brunch buffet. It’s our favorite place to go to after church. They have a huge selection, there’s no way you could even try all of it. I have been telling everyone about it lol. Who doesn’t love a breakfast buffet? The owners usually come out to the dining room to chat and visit with customers which is a nice personal touch and makes everyone feel welcome. My husband and I went to their Valentine dinner and had a great time. The atmosphere was casual which my husband loved and the food was wonderful. They also timed it perfectly so we didn’t feel rushed, we really enjoyed our evening. They even gave us a bottle of wine! I’m a firm believer in supporting local businesses as much as I can and this one is my new favorite! I’m also including a photo of a gift that they donated for a local fundraiser. They definitely go above and beyond for their community.

MY cousin and I went there for lunch. Danielle did a great job in every area from beginning to end. It is obvious that this family owned business is working very hard to please all there customers. They obviously treat every customer as a very important person, and pleasing the customer iis very important to them. Awesome experience Danielle...Fish and calzone were awesome as well as their soup.

Wife and I went with our two nieces and nephew we got the steak and greens sandwich with sweet potato tater tots two kids got the spaghetti with meatballs and our fussy eater got chicken fingers and fries... everything was cooked to perfection and delicious ... waitress was very friendly and chatted up the kids .. we had a really great time

I ordered a pan of chicken riggies for catering and everyone at the party loved them. The owner and manager were very welcoming and accommodating, making sure the order was ready on time for the surprise party. The prices were also very reasonable.

You know I love to shout out to local Small Businesses…. We live very close to Sherrill, so it was always convenient to stop at Joe’s Jerky to pick up take out. When they went out of business, I was nervous about losing another dinner option, but Italian Sizzle Shack took over the space and has been great!! When they first opened, we had a couple glitches with our orders but they seem to have found their groove, because the food and service has been phenomenal. My mother is obsessed with their homemade meatballs which is a HUGE compliment since her Italian father made the best. The tomato pie is out of this world. I freeze the slices then pop them in toaster oven for a quick lunch. Very pleased with the new owners and happy to have them in the neighborhood!! Stop by and give them a try!!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch. Our waitress was both welcoming and helpful. We are passing through and decided to try this restaurant on a whim and were not disappointed. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. I tried a delicious authentic Carbonara, my wife chose the French fries which looked triple fried and well seasoned, my sister in law chose a Calzone which was very large and baked very well. My brother in law ordered the largest Reuben sandwich I've ever seen and it looked mouthwatering. I only marked the atmosphere down because we ate during a quiet period. The restaurant is very well presented and great place to eat with friends. Highly recommended. I'll post a picture to go with this review!
